Kamal Restaurant Goa - Restaurant in Satari, Pissurlem - North Goa, India

Visited this restaurant with my friends for lunch. The place is very easy to find as it is right next to the main road. The ambience is simple but the vibrant wall murals make the place standout. The food tasted just as good as it looked. Would definitely be visiting this place again.

This is a nice restaurant for a family / friends lunch/dinner out. The sitting area's are divided into multiple rooms each having their own beautiful decor. The food is delicious and service is good too. The ambience of the place is nice. Tried their chicken biryani and chicken crispy, both were good.

My overall experience at Kamal restaurant was bad. The food was below average. We had a vegetarian dinner. Highly dissatisfied with the quality of the food, as compared against the price to be paid for it. For starters, we ordered Veg Crispy, Tiranga Tikka, Veg Seekh kabab. The only thing to be appreciated from these options was the pudina chutney, that was provided as side dish. We loved your pudina chutney. The crispy was average, the tiranga tikka was not worth its name..just regular paneer tikka..average..The Seekh kebab was downright disappointing! It was drier than the desserts of Rajasthan. Not juicy at all for a kebab. The stuffing used was tasteless. The gravies we ordered were chili mili and begum bahar. Both of these gravies tasted average. No memorable taste, whatsoever. The garlic naan was highly disappointed to see such lame options. Later we ordered Veg Biryani. Somewhat tasty. The masala chhach (buttermilk) was good. Also the lemon soda was good. Overall very disappointed with the food choices. Compared to the food quality, the cost we paid was exorbitant. Imagine, you paying an amount of > Rs500 per head, upon getting dissatisfied with every food item that you ordered. Overall: Unsatisfactory! The service in here is extremely slow. I could see many servers wandering around the tables, but still the dishes reached to us very late. The seekh kebab, a starter reached us after the main course was served. The hot water reached us after reminding the server 2-3 times. The only good thing about the restaurant I could say is it's Ambiance.. You guys have really put in some good efforts in there. The wall paintings were spectacular. The lighting was nice. The ceiling looked great. The compartment concept for dining is worth appreciating. 5 stars for that! So overall I am highly disappointed with this place. I do not recommend this for vegetarian options. The place loses its points for food quality, excessive costing and speed of service. It impresses you with its ambiance. But that's all.

You can get delicious food here, even best place for birthday celebration and get together. This restaurant is well-kept and one of the best restaurant to go to

Great place around Sankhli, Valpoi, Honda for a relaxed family dinner. Kamal has maintained its taste and service over time which is rare for restaurants around the area. The food served is fresh and delicious. I've visited the place at least about 6-7 times now and not a single dish has disappointed me yet. Keep it up.

The ambience, location and the restaurant is top notch. Its a fairly new restaurant so the building and everything else is brand new, clean and proper order. The prices are in moderate to expensive range. The taste was average to good. The chicken crispy I tried was stale and hard. While the soup was good. The a service was okiesh. Worth giving a try, as its the best restaurant available in Honda, in my opinion.
