Not crowed station good for kalyani government and Kalyani ITI Students easy to boarding the train but low safty MAGEROS This place very nice ,clean,not busy, staff offer good relationship and have a food track it 's ok ,it have a clock room very selfty,waiting room. But you may visit the Railway station on way to some place or while returning from somewhere I took 7:09 pm train for some for where The train is running late by more than an hour may be due to weather conditions but our schedules get changed due to the same.

Kalyani Ghoshpara Railway Station is a Kolkata Suburban Railway station on the Kalyani Simanta Branch line of Sealdah Railway Division. It is situated at Shilpanchal Road, kalyani in Nadia District . It serves Ghoshpara, Kalyani University, ITI College and B Block area of the city. No of Platform - 1 Elevation - 12 mt Station code - KLYG The Calcutta (Sealdah)-Kusthia line of Eastern Bengal Railway was opened to run in the year of 1862. British Government in India established the railway station in the then Roosvelt town named Chandmari Halt in 1883. In 1954 it was renamed into Kalyani. In 1979, the rail line was extended from Kalyani main station to Kalyani Simanta railway station and also established direct connectivity to Sealdah through Kalyani Simanta local EMU trains.

This is a branch station of Kalyani main station. Sealdah to kalyani simanta local trains serves this area which covers kalyani ghoshpara, University of Kalyani, kalyani B Block, ITI college etc. Trains are usually available here every hour.

Not a very busy station but surely a life saver for students of Kalyani University and Government Engineering College. The timing of trains are not too dense (1 train each hour or sometimes 1 in 2 hours). Station is near to the terminal Kalyani Simanta, and trains are usually not crowded while boarding from here

It would be good if electricity wasn't so bad here. Stay alert from local thieves, they will try to snatch you bag from your hand.
