Very nice temple. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Kalyaneswari, a form of the goddess Shakti. The temple is surrounded by scenic beauty, making it a popular pilgrimage spot for locals and tourists alike. Overall, the Kalyaneswari Temple is a beautiful and sacred place that holds significant cultural and religious importance for the people of West Bengal.
Kalyaneshwari is a 500-year-old centre of Shakti worship. Legend has it that human sacrifices were offered at Kalyaneshwari in the remote past. The present temple, however, is not very old and was constructed by Sri Gurudin Prasad Pal. The temple of Goddess Kalyaneshwari is believed to fulfill the wishes of childless women.

Famous temple near Maithon dam..offered puja and spent some time there..we visited the temple on the occasion of Rash Purnima. A large number of people came from different places to offer pujas on that special day. After offering puja we took our lunch at a nearby hotel. Accommodation facility is also available in the hotel.
Beautiful place. Approx. 15 kms. from Dildar Nagar, Asansol. From Kalyeneswari Temple we visited Maithon Dam (4kms.) then Panchet Dam(17kms.) Panchet to Garpanchokot the distance is 16 kms. On the way to Asansol we visited Nituria(13kms.), a nice pandal was there of Durgapuja. We returned at night from there to Dildarnagar, Asansol(29kms.approx).
This is a great place from the view of Hindu mithology.It is believed that the feet of mother kalyaneswari is down there in the temple to give her blessings to us.This will be clearly a good trip for your holiday.
Previously only kalyaneswari kali mandir was there.now one shiv mandir also opened.mandir open 365 days morning 6am till evening.Go to temple in morning to a oid over crowed.many beggars are there,so you can donate money,clothes or foods
