Its a bit costly.. But they have lot of collection Only thing i didn't like is there was a smell from 1st floor like sewer i dnt knw wht that is. The sales staffs was so helpful.
I went for onam shopping where the offer was written as "for every 3000 rupees spent, shopping free for 1500 rupees". When I came for billing, the staff told me to pay the whole amount and you will not receive any discount. I am entitled only for shopping vouchers of 1500 rupees which I can use only during September, October & November. I cross checked before starting the shopping about the discount and I was assured about the same. Guys these people are fooling us. I highly recommend that you don't go shopping at Kalyan silks. It's a waste of time and money.
We just visited the Kalyan silks showroom in palakkad and we were mesmerised by the collection they had in store for us here. The silk sarees were exquisite and the variety available here was jaw dropping. Please visit the store for the finest collection of sarees indigenous to Kerala and south India, at affordable prices.
Our shopping experience in Kalyan Silks was wonderful and we loved it. We are completely satisfied with the purchased items and the collection was excellent. The service was too good especially ajitha chechi. She cared for us throughout the purchase and gave us a wonderful experience and helped us to find and match the clothing of our expectations. We went to Kalyan silks expecting a good collection of clothes since it is one of the best textiles in Palakkad. But the experience was really disappointing. It might be providing a good collection of sarees/silks and ethnic wears. But when it comes to modern wears and lingerie for women ,kids section ,etc the collection is really pathetic. And about the service of the staffs, they were just walking behind us. If we ask them anything, they would show somebody else to ask. And poor knowledge about the stuff they are trying to sell.! And the floor was congested with some staffs, a few customers and cloths!
Very kind staff . They all were so active and nice . We got what we wanted . They were very friendly with my family.
Staffs are extra smart they are well trained to catch the customer, but I got the worst product, they told me it was Kancheepuram saree which cost Rs 4200 , I took it but utterly disappointed, I have worn once but the quality is sooo poor that it has started to torn , If I need poor quality saree then why should I pay 4200 , same must be available in 1000 rs in small shops .I think it was my fate to get the old and damaged product really disappointed.
Good service,staff are very nice to me , especially running staff and material is very very nice
