Staff seems courteous, my usual assumption of people in India and many more places is that they treat younger people with lesser attention and respect, this place didn't seem to be the case. I also would recommend this place to people who're from Kerala as there seem to be some native speakers of Malayalam here among the staff. Although i didn't interact much, I can say I liked it, I mean that for the customer service as for prices, at the time of me writing this review, 10 gms of silver is at 686 Rs, 1 gm of 22 CT Gold is at 4450 Rs. There doesn't seem to be any discount on 1 bhavan (local measurement) but then again I do not know the norm. An extra 3% GST tax besides the non-general wastage cost will most likely be levied as well. They seem to feature golden, and silver necklaces, rings, and more besides the gold and diamond combo section as I would put it in my own words, together with the service of either selling your own jewelry, or exchanging them but the latter did not seem to be too cheap in my judgement. They also seem to have other ornaments and platters made out of silver so props. Overall, come check the place out if you wanna get an idea of what kinda rare material ornaments you want to buy for either yourself or for a gift to one lucky person.

DO NOT BUY ANY JEWELLERY/GOLD HERE !!! I get 0% casting/making charges in Saravana Gold (SST) but you guy's are charging 2% My wife had gifted an online voucher which was the only reason I had to come to Kalyan and the voucher exchange process is the worst. If you cannot redeem a voucher online better don't issue a voucher. Troubling the customer to mail here and there. Then asking to wait for 30 mins to process the voucher is the worst.

I have a scheme which matured last month and today my base branch manager informed me that I can avail the scheme without bond by providing proper identity proof and address proof. Actually my bond is in my native place. Today I went chrompet kalyan to buy . I don't have bond but I was ready to provide all details of the scheme and I have SOA of the scheme but a person immediately told me that you can't buy without bond. I fully agree, I should not go to the redeem without a bond, but they should politely inform and they must must explain that we do not entertain this situation. I told everything and even my base branch kalyan manager was willing to talk to him but didn't work. I have been associate with kalyan through scheme for the last 4 years but this situation has changed me and going forward don't go with Kalyan. I have never seen this irresponsible response. Be careful with their monthly schemes that they provide, during every month payment they will show the amount of gold that we get. but during closure the milli or the weight after the decimal place is not adjusted. They will ask you to buy additional gold to adjust that, as this will give them option to add wastage and other charges. They charge dieing cost and add gst on top of it. their billing and system is not proper. no clue about quality of gold - no comments there.

Don't purchase any gold here .. we had a worst ever customer service by staff named Mr.Sakthi spoils the brand name KALYAN by his unprofessional customer service.I don't know why r they recruiting a staff like him to face customer who don't value the frequent buyers (from2013) of Kalyan... He is not at all courteous,not customer friendly, not flexible... I had the pathetic experience at Kalyan chromepet.. . He is the one who don't know to value of kalyan's external customers. He treated us like a beggar though we had purchased for huge amount.. thus I decided not to buy gold , diamond from Kalyan hereafter... Surely kalyan will lose its reputation by hiring a staff like Mr. Shakti.. "Unhappy customer "

It was a bad experience to purchase a nose pin, and the service was very poor during the nose pin session. Even though it is a small nose pin, they hesitate to show it to the customer because they feel it is a small product. Since Kalyan provided poor service, we requested a gold nose pin and bought it from Joy Allukas Crompet.

Worst customer service one can imagine even in their dreams. If you ask them to weigh and show the actual grams, they will say it's not their duty. They will talk rude and repeat the same multiple times. Making charge is high too compared to other shops. Shops like GRT will treat their customers equally eventhough they attend many customers at same time. Best to avoid this shop at any cost. Also you will not get your bill and they say server issue and will send bill through whatsapp in few mins. Even after a day, you will not get it. STAY AWAY!!!
