They call it as 'service' but in reality it is not. I understand in a medical center clinic it should be atleast a 50+50 business+service, but in here it is 100% business only. In this era of digital world they still want the patients or his/her bystander to personally visit this clinic at 7am and before 8am and get a token booked for the same day if you want to consult with the doctor who is only available after 2:30pm. They never ever accept telephonic booking at all if you call and try for; you should pre assume you will get some problem with your eye and so personally visit the clinic in the morning in between 7am-8am, book the token if you are lucky enough, go back and come again at 2:30pm (or after as per the time given) on the same day. If the token is not available for the same day and if you want to book for the next day, even that is not possible here; you have to come back next day 7am-8am and book it. You have to book on the same day morning for the same day consultation. Won't even accept any walk-in patients also in between the consultation time. How much ever good the doctor's treatment is, this type of complications in the service to the patients alone is enough to spoil everything. Kuthuparamba hardly has any ophthalmologist available; else due to your this type of service I don't believe any patients will prefer you ever. Sorry to say this should never be called has any service. And most of the staffs working here are highly egoistic & over attitude persons. Doctor's treatments are good. But other services are pathetic, especially the process of booking a consultation. This review is completely from my personal experience with this clinic at various times in a year till date.
Clinic carries a very good reputation from decades, and is close to my heart for several reasons. Visited the clinic after a log period. However, really disappointed to see the unprofessional behavior of a staff who was available on 02-December-2021 at the token table(Varanda). I wish if she learns to treat people with empathy and respect, that alone could make the day much better for many people.
Dr. Nibu Joseph is the most friendliest doc u will find there. And Dr. Geeta is like a mother. The way she speaks to u makes u feel so comfortable and she shows she cares.
