Oldest and strangest Kalupur Tower is an old and known chowk in Ahmedabad. It is the home of bara handi, where the flavours have been cooking for a century in the same pot, where towering clock once hurried children to school (before it broke) and where one finds the best yeast, sold wholesale to bakers across the city. It is packed day and night, with a growing pack of parked rickshaws around the tower at the center. The best place to have dinner and specially to have non veg. there is always little bit of rush at night time but as far as i know there is no better place to have quick bites and even complete dinner. i would suggest each and every non veg lover to visit here because the taste you get from here you won't be getting from anywhere else.

Visited 2018 & 2021. Frankly I just happened to pass by this place. The correct name is Nanamiya Hava Tower. Built 1925 it seems. Recently renovated and the clock was repaired. It is a is a Grade IIA protected structure. See attached pic of the clock tower in 2018 vs now (2021).

Good place for foodies, Different types of food stalls hotels and restaurants are available here, You can call a food junction of this place. And haa the clock is not working right now. but it works in the elections. ;)
