kalu camel & horse safari - Camping farm in Pushkar - Ajmer, India

This week we stayed with Kalu and his family and thoroughly enjoyed it :) We rode for 3 hours on his camels and stayed with his lovely family overnight, sleeping on the rooftop. We enjoyed helping prepare dinner and watching the whole cooking process, especially Mona with her chapatis, Mama and Laila with the veg dishes. We felt like part of the family and the whole experience will always be in our hearts :)

Had an amazing experience. They offered me an amazing buggy along with the camel for a great price. Should directly go through them only if in Pushkar. Highly recommended.

My sisters(3 people) went for camel ride on Nov 24. The ride was very pleasant and the icing on the cake was their family arranging dinner and camp fire at the end of the trip. Their family were very courteous and treated them with a sumptuous Rajasthani meal. After the dinner they dropped them at the bus stop where they got into the bus to Udaipur. Initially my sisters were scared when they were taken to their home for dinner enroute to their house. But at the end they had a memorable experience.

Kalu takes personal care of every guest's comfort, in his camel safari, I realized this while riding his camel as solo rider. I spent one night at his farm and enjoyed the best of Rajasthani food in the comfort of his typical Rajasthani cottage. Memorable experience. With people like him for me money doesn't matter. A must do in Pushkar.

Great hospitality by Kalu, support staff and his family, They provide authentic rajasthani food cooked by Kalu' mother and great village ambiance. Must visit for camel safari and do opt for breakfast. Highly Recommended Place to visit in Pushkar

Amazing experience and the guy who took us for safari Ganesh was an awesome guys. The sand dunes, the sunset, dances, ride everything was superb. Do take ride through Kalu Bhai..

Kalu camel safari gives you a taste of the culture of pushkar , we were taken from town on camel back out to his farm were we had the most delicious Rajasthani home cooked meal under the stars in his village , it is a experience not to be missed if you are visiting pushkar
