Kalna Hospital is a very old hospital. It is a high specialty hospital. It falls within a block meaning that many people benefit and the disease is treated well. Doctors are almost always available here. Lifeline for Kalna subdivision. Its too busy. outdoor OPD running fully but congested. Building is totally old. But for this huge hospital, large number of staff doctor sister and supporting staff security needed. Will Govt provide large number of health personnel for this busy lifeline of Kalna. Sometimes there is a problem of absentee doctors and nurses. It is not perfectly located between colors. A little earlier than Kalna. But communication here is very good. Here the amount of patients is very high but the amount of doctors is less. If people have to come here, it would be better to know in advance if everything is going well. It is a government hospital so treatment is possible at low cost. Almost all types of doctors are available here. Apart from this there are many nursing homes in some which offer better treatment. Anyway the hospital is a good hospital in all respects.

Worst service. Dr.Susanta Mondal is famous, but have no idea about any modern treatment/medicine. No ECG facility is here which is very difficult to move patient at out side.

We all hope that this hospital will run very smoothly and huge number of patients will get treatment free of cost. Probably PPP model pathology laboratory are also will be opened at super speciality wing.

The same doctor who treat you like no one may treat you as family members when you visit them on their private clinic. Awful rude doctors except some. Doctors are running their own clinics instead of treating the hospital patients although there are very low amount of doctors. Nurses are very hardworking. How I came to this conclusion? My father died here without proper treatment. My mother was admitted here for intensive injury issues. The doctors behave like you are there for free although this hospitals are running on government money from the tax paid by every patient.

Very unprofessional staff. Nurses have inadequate knowledge. They need training for injecting patients. They don't follow orders by duty doctors. The hospital is neat and clean, which is the only aspect or good thing about this hospital. They don't have many medicines as given by duty docs and ask the attendant to buy from a medical store outside the hospital vicinity. Toilet and other sanitary systems needs supervision very appropriately.
