It's around 3 hrs drive from Kolkata. It's a nice place to hang around with family for 2-3 hrs if you're somewhat interested in history. The place is under the Archaeological Survey of India. It has two Panchavimsati-Ratna temples, five Atchala temples and on the other side, there is 108 Shiva temple complex.
Its really a unique heritage site, i hv spellbound to visit here to observe the typical terracotta works at radha madhab temple before 300yrs nearly old ,live now. Area is now undertaken by india govt heritage authority, its not too much consusted but road from old delhi road is narrow and parking place is too short for more than 5cars. Tasty snacks is available like fuchka, aloo chat, lemon soda water etc at the gate , raajbaari or royal residency is now locked. There is four big temple.
