This railway station is clean and well maintained. It has a weighing machine which tells you your weight. And large benches for travellers to sit and relax. You get the small service like tea, coffee and snacks on the station at any time. And yes the toy trains for shimla start from here.
A unique constructed railway station and also famous for their build up style one of the heritage railway station of Indian railways kalka, placed near to chandigarh. Mostly used to shimla route Shimla toy train. Come here if you are looking to travel Shimla by train awesome Scenric view in 5 hrs of travel. Train ticket is available unreserved and reserved both. But I suggest booked prior with IRCT site to avoid any issue. Railway platform having all basic facility for passenger. Platform constructed for toy train it's amazing to see looks like complete different feels like children special station.
