Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) - Hospital in Bhubaneswar - Khordha, India

Situated near KIIT, this multi-facility hospital is one of the best hospitals of Eastern India. It has the best Cancer treatment Centre of Odisha with the best infrastructure to back it up. You can get treated here for every ailment for less amount (if you have compare it to other private hospitals). Food provided to patient is good and the staff is also very helping in nature (both towards the patient and the visitors). If you're planning to get yourself admitted or you relatives, I would recommend you to come to this hospital first.

Higiene is pathetic. Bathroom facility for the patients attendants is not available in ICU ward. They don't provide masks for the patients attendant. Infrastructure is good from outside but inside its very bad.

Very Swift and quick service. Helpful respectful staff everywhere anytime. Good doctors for getting diagnosed and treated. I am telling from my OPD and EMERGENCY experience when I had suspected dengue and went for blood test among many others .

The worst private hospital and very slow like the govt hospital you have to wait for one day for one procedure and only doing experiments with the patients.At my case my mother was in icu the housekeeping staff who changes the clothes of patients are illiterate and misbehaved with my mother. They slap my mother's hand which had fistula she is a dialysis patient plus she was intubated and on ventilator at that time when next morning I go to meet she saying me with actions the internship dr. Is there but they don't say a word , after complaining there is no one who takes action against them the dr. also not explaining well. I am not saying that everyone is bad but there are some staff that are very bad and if you complain they hide the complaint. In icu the food to the patient given too cold the food staff give the food in correct time but nursing staff give it too late.If the attendant is illiterate they are never gonna know who is the dr. Or what has happened to his patients . You've to find the dr. to ask. Asking the nurses about what dr. Says they say we don't know when I saw myself the file which is next to the bed there is everything written but no one explains if you want to know then go and read ,what type of a hospital it was. This is a private hospital where they take 40000 for security in an emergency for admission, for what they are taking if these all things are happening. There are many attendants who sit outside the icu ward they also don't know who is treating their patients. If my note is reading someone from the hospital please don't do these types of things with normal poor people. And one more thing the transgender female whom we are complaining she says go take your patient to some other hospital.we explained her everything but she only took her staff side don't even ask their staff if it happens or not only blaming us back .If these things are happening with us then definitely normal poor people are also suffering but they don't say because they're innocent and don't know whom to complain about. please don't do kiims hospital make your institution and hospital apart because it makes your hospital worse.

The executives working at lower level are just making the patients fool and taking extra charges which happened with me today. Although the treatment I got from here is very excellent. But that credit goes to the doctors. I'm giving one star rating with expecting a call from your end so that I can explain my complain.

The hospital was made by KIIT owner. The campus is big and still a lot of construction going on. All the employees do their work very well but the doctors inside do not come on time. If they pay attention to the small features then it will be better. People are treated very well but only I have seen this. Maintains hygiene very well but it will be good if they pay attention to toilet and washroom cleanliness. "IF THEY PAY ATTENTION TO THE PATIENTS, THEN IT IS BETTER, THOSE WHO DO NOT HAVE MUCH KNOWLEDGE, THEY SHOULD BE EXPLAINED." It is one of KIIT group of institutions. One of the super speciality hospital with medical college. They have modern facilities but the services becomes chaotic because of being crowded. People come here with a lot of expectations from places far off. It needs a lot of improvement in variety of departments like cleanliness and people management. Dealing with patients and their fellow men is skill that the staff here lack and this is across the board.
