Food quality is okay okay, but the problem is the handicapped, sinior citizen, patient, car owner have no option to take a break at this food corner. But food quality is good.

Price is too much High... They will provide Rice and Sabji with Dal 80 rupees... With fish 150/- which is very high, Positive side - they always maintain their quality of the Food.

Fabulous, Fantastic food. One of the best Bengali i found here. Except the crowded location & shabby, dirty entrance, though it is unavoidable because of the location & market surrounding. But much better than so called fine dining with too costly tasteless food. You will find here excellent preparation & variety of food, quality as well, price is ok. This place is not for classy ppl but for truly foody people, who loves good food. Its better than many so called famous Bengali restaurants of Kolkata, where u hv to pay a lot more for decorations & establishment costs. Few limitations are stiff staircase, no wheelchair option, no paid salute gatekeeper, no staff will wait for baksish, no decoration, but the dining area/ rooms are clean, ac working. Always crowded during lunch time, have to wait for ur turn. AC dining area are not chargeable extra. If anyone want to njoy fabulous food, shud go there. They accept cash, upi, cards. I suggest you all go there & njoy their food.

Awesome food , service manager Nachuda is great .. Authentic Bengali taste with loads of Fish item . Their speciality DOI KATLA is just wow but show stopper in our plate was their BHETKI PATURI . OHH JUST LOVELY. Ac ,Non-Ac both available. Just you need to go through one very stiff stair as establishment is ages old and located in the heart of BoroBazar stiff stair comes with pakage. If in your mind good authentic Bengali cuisine then place is must visit .

You may not like the ambience but you'll definitely fall in love with each and every dishes. There has many seating option like Non-AC & AC seating, Seating on the floor, they also serve food in brass plate and glass with banana leaf. This pice hotel is almost 100 years old and they maintain the same taste over the year. If you like Bengali dishes then it is the heaven for you, you'll find varieties of fishes and other veg bengali dishes like Alu Posto, potol posto, sukhto, moong dal with Machher matha.

Food and Service is good on normal Monday-Saturday. But on Sunday they make limited stock so the taste is not upto the mark

A great hotel for Bengali food in the area like Barbazar of Kolkata. There are comfortable AC and non AC facilities to sit here. Food tastes great.
