I was travelling back from Faizabad to Lucknow after official work ,while our driver took me to this restaurant.Their special dish is Azamgarh type handi meat , which we ordered mutton version along with tandoori roti .The mutton was slow cooked in earthen handi and tastes delicious. Full handi costs 595/- (8 pcs) sufficient for 3 person .They used whole garlic in the gravy ,which got cooked along and can be eaten as such . There is a huge airconditioned dining room and as well as small sitting areas in the garden . Little improvement can be done in hygiene and service level .

Ample parking and Service Road is the main advantage. Tried Manchow soup, Mutton handi, chicken biryani and Butter naan. Butter naan is best i have tried in faizabad. Kids loved it. The famous mutton handi not disappointed. Manchow soup is good , if the pepper is less it would be very good. Chicken biryani does the job but not so great. Green apple Mocktail also Ok. Overall nice experience. The rates can be little bit less taking into account the long distance from city.
The place is beautiful next to the Highway from where different cities luxury buses can be found. The restaurant have varieties of delicious food itms.

When in Ayodhya , Kalika Chulha is a must. They have the delicious and inviting menu with many options. I tried the Chicken and mutton handi biriyani. Both were terrific, in quantity as well as quality. Best Service Staff is Good, Embiance is totally up to the mark.
I had a disappointing experience at the Kalika Hostel restaurant. The food was subpar and lacked any real flavor or creativity. The service was slow and the staff seemed disinterested in our needs. To make matters worse, the prices were quite high for the quality of food and service we received. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a decent meal and good service."
