Good place to stay inside city and near to kali ghat temple. Since it's run by west Bengal govt senior citizen will get it at discounted prise and there are only five Ac rooms. Ac rooms are good, ask for rooms which are third floor which are newly built. Neat and clean. Second and first floor rooms are little old and bathroom ceiling paint and all has come out. Staff are helpful and courteous. Kalighat temple is very near. But be very careful not to get cheated by pandas in the temple. They will ask for money for fast dahrshan, It's free entry and it will not he rush most of the times. Since its very near you can visit any number of times. However tel doesn't have canteen facility, so you need to go main road there are lot of options. Only In the night you need to have little early dinner. There is mall near by there you will find lot of veg and non veg options. There it has food court. But you need to buy separate card to pay the money. At the end you can return the card and come out. All together it was nice experience in budget stay near to temple as stay in star hotel is little costly in Kolkata. Land mark. Exactly opposite to Kalighat police station.

This is a small guest house run by West Bengal tourism. This is located only 150 meters from Kalighat Devi Kali Mandir just opposite Kalighat Police station. Location is great in terms of connectivity and temple proximity. The staff here is very good, decent and supportive. They guide and help you in their best capacity. Rooms are very small but quite airy. Our room was having two balcony. There is no food service available, however you have few vegetarian and non vegetarian food points near by and you can order food online as well. Cleanliness is reasonable and can be further improved in the common areas. Prices are quite reasonable. Place is safe and easy to approach.

A govt maintained facilitation centre. The rooms are averagely maintained. But the staff are very good and cooperative. Considering the location of the centre and other counterparts, it's worth the price. One must pre book the rooms. Direct check in is not allowed.

Nice position located opposite of kalighat police station. 5 minutes walking distance from temple. Have lift. But rooms are not as good as other wbtdc lodge. It has no fooding facility. Thats a problem.

When you will go to Kalighat temple through temple road from S P Mukherjee Rd, you will see a temple on right side of the road in front of Kalighat police Station. It is Kalighat pilgrimage facilitation centre. The upper part of the building is like as kalighat temple. It is a hotel operated by WBTDC. All types of room is available here. The employees of this hotel are good and cooperative.

if u re coming from other states to visit the Kali temple,it could be ur choice if u dnt wanna spend more on a hotel and maintain a reasonable budget.this is just opposite to the kalighat Police station,and hence safety is assured,and to add that, it's just a minute walking from here to the temple.all-in-all,,q good stay u can expect from here
