Kali Tiger Reserve safari booking counter - Wildlife and safari park in Phansoli - Uttara Kannada, India

This is the place you take tickets and get into the heaven of western ghats in an open jeep for a open jungle safari. I strongly recommend you to take 6am safari so that you can experience both dark and light part of jungle safari. Its hard to spot big cats, but u will enjoy the nature and view from open jeep. Inside the forest they will take u to a view point there you can witness the beauty of western ghat. Soon after finishing the safari they ll guide you to elephant camp which is just 200 m away. Staff were friendly and cool.

Not a good safari. Hardly any animals here. You can only see peacocks. People will be roaming freely, that tells you enough. It's a forest though. Don't jump into this safari. At max you will spend some time in open jeep for 20km in dry forest.

Was a good experience We took the 6:00 am to 8:00 am slot The tickets can been booked in advance as they have limited slots . Our ranger was very good and professional They claim to have around 32 tigers however we couldn't spot any. Overall a good experience

Place is good but animals are less than expected. Experience is good. Price per head is Rs600 which seems little expensive but worth a tour. We spotted 12-13animals+birds.

Kali Tiger Reserve is the perfect destination for a jungle safari. The bear, tiger and leopard area is home to some of the most beautiful animals in the world. You will see the beauty of this jungle in the early morning or late evening. The tigers and leopards are waiting for you to catch them by surprise.

Its biggest forest reserve in karnataka. Didn't booked tickets in advance, went there early morning n booked tickets. Weather was nice foogy but didn't saw tiger but spotted deer, peacock. Some really nice locations

The forest is awesome and very big. However you will not be able to see any animals. The jungle safari costs rs 450. It only operates in morning 6-8 and evening 4-6. In both times, animal sighting is very rare.

Beautiful, tranquil reserve. Guides are very helpful and knowledgeable. They speak Marathi in addition to Kannad, which was helpful in understanding information about forest and animals. Safari was 600Rs per person.
