Beautiful place in the lap of nature. Surrounded by forest this place is amazing in its own way. You can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere while listening the melodious voice of birds and also arrange for a picnic as fire wood is easily available here.

On the road from Kathgodam to Gaulapar, you'll find a gate to your left marked as Kalichaur Mandir, this is the path you need to take to reach this ancient temple. The path has not been laid down in concrete entirely as such there are rough patches throughout. There are auto rikshaws which will take you to the destination. The temple is located amidst dense forest as such when not crowded there's a chance to witness wildlife in the vicinity.
