Kali Adventure Camp - Resort hotel in Dandeli - Uttara Kannada, India

This is our second time visiting Dandeli, Both times we opted for a tent stay. Here it was too small and congested for 2 people. Ventilation inside a tent is difficult. Due to rain, they shifted the tents in their balconies, where everyone kept walking to and fro, it was disturbing. Food was good, but management was horrible. The reason is that the other visitors were behaving as if they never saw food or a pool in their life. Some old men were urinating right beside the swimming pool, which due to rain was surely coming back into the pool. Highly hygienic!!! Common Washrooms are deadly horrible. Poorly maintained. Suggestion for visitors: never opt for a tent here. Better take room so you don't have to use common Washrooms.

We had an amazing experience here. This in by no means a luxury resort. However, the behaviour of staff and service quality is superb. We absolutely felt at home because of the way staff treated us. The food was amazing and I just cant forget the taste of Malai Gobhi Along with Jowar Roti freshly made in front of us. Some renovation work is going on and once that is done resort will be even better. We went for safaris, Nature walk and coracle ride which were all enjoyable. Obviously nobody can do anything about no tiger sighting. A must visit.

Easily accessible by Road,we had the best time at Kali Adventure Camp.Their hospitality is top notch, very warm atmosphere, each and every aspect of our stay was taken good care of,totally worth every penny spent on this vacation. The food was fresh and very tasty .The rooms are clean and cozy with all facilities, the camp is very well maintained and there are services and Adventures like rafting, jungle safari ,jungle walk ,boat ride and bird watching. Best choice for a weekend getaway., A best place to enjoy

We stayed for two days in a standard room which was clean and spacious. There were a lot of monkeys nearby. The food was excellent and not very oily. Their service was also top tier with their staff being very helpful and friendly. Some of their activities were rafting, jungle safari, nature walk and bird safari. Rafting was very fun and a must try but the jungle Safari and koraikal ride were fruitless. My suggestion is that I hope that they can add more activities, mainly water- based ones similiar to the ones that other resorts there provide in ganeshgudi. I also hope that they will be able to buy good quality tabletennis bats for the tabletennis table in the lobby as the ones there are hard. The net is also worn out and the TT ball is broken. I hope they pay more attention to these

Kali adventure camp is one of best adventure resort we have visited. To begin with the staff are extremely kind and service oriented. They service best vegetarian food and make hot rotis, pulkas, puris, right in front of us serve with lot of love. The rooms are clean. We saw horn bills in the morning outside the camp. One shouldn't miss the rafting which is organised by the resort, it has to be booked online.

We are a group of 4 who went rafting from this place for 1500/person 12 km. Overall a very good experience. They charge 2600 for camera & video for 8 members or boat.

Best place to stay which is situated alongside jungle of the western ghats and kali river. Best white rafting experience. Food was okay. Staffs are cooperative. The rooms are spacious and tidy.

Good experience and reasonably maintained resort, though run by Govt corporation. The food was decent and smooth on stomach. The location is great with River Kali flowing nicely infront of your rooms. The rafting is a memorable experience and worth it. The safari is good but sightings depend on your luck . Overall a good get away for couple of days.
