Kalasamala Eco Tourism kallazhikunnu - Tourist attraction in Akathiyoor, Chowwannur part - Thrissur, India

Kalasamala Eco Tourism now charges a 10 rupee ticket. which feels unnecessary as there haven't been significant additions apart from a ticket counter and a small park. Previously, it was free. It's a small family hangout spot for evening outings, but don't expect too much from it. However, there's a cave and a pleasant view at the end.

Nice place for spending evening with your family. Children's park and nature beauty is the main attraction of this place. (Park allowed for kids up to age of 12 years). The best time for visiting here 4.00 pm to 7.00pm. Entry fee for adult 10 Rs and 5 Rs for kids. Car parking facility is also available. Parking fee for cars 20 Rs only. Though its a nice place for the kids to visit with family on week ends , the place is not well maintained by dtpc. Childrens play zone is there . But not enough maintenance. Lovers everywhere. So think twice before bringing kids out .

It's under development. Useful for people living nearby. Small evening hangout spot for family with children. Decently maintained childrens play area. Car parking available. One can take few snaps too. Caffe with soft drinks and ice cream.

There isn't much to see here. EDIT: I decided to elaborate. There is a view, but you aren't high enough to see much and since it isn't a steep climb, you'll mostly just see what you climbed up to get there. There is a small cafeteria with limited snacks and beverage options, you can get tea and parippuvada. Cleanliness is a 6/10. There are a few PET bottles around, but most of the area is clean. The place isn't bad, but there aren't really any activities, and there's nothing to see here. If you live in the area, I suppose it's worth it having a place to hang out when the heat has died down, but if you're coming here from an hour away or more, I would say it isn't worth it.

Best place for family to spend a evening, there is view point, park and cave in this place ! So everyone can have their own plates. If you are near then this worth the visit
