We recently visited Jose's property, and we were impressed by the well maintained surroundings featuring various types of trees. The shared premises provided us with a clean room, complete with an attached bathroom and access to a common kitchen. Jose's assistance was notable, and he even arranged a houseboat for us, with an additional cost. Overall, our experience was positive, and we appreciated the hospitality and the serene atmosphere of the place.

I've always wanted to stay on a houseboat and this was a magical experience from start to finish! The backwaters are stunning and the houseboat is fantastic- it has everything you need! As a solo female traveller it's important for me to feel safe, and both the captain and chef made me feel comfortable at all times. The chef even stopped so I could buy some live crab for him to cook for dinner! The food was delicious and the welcome coconut drink was a lovely touch! Truly, one of the best experiences I've had travelling in all of the 50 countries I've been to. Don't hesitate to book, you won't regret it!

Thank you for making the houseboat stay so comfortable. Not even once did we feel scared as we had booked a single-room boat. Also, the boat was very neat and clean. We had a pleasant stay at Kalappura homestay & houseboat. The houseboat experience was outstanding. Jose and his staff were very friendly. The food was great as well. We enjoyed our stay! it was great value for money the rooms were spacious, and the bathrooms were clean, We overall had a great time.

Un tres bon sejour dans cette maison. Proche de du centre ville sans les inconvenients du bruit. Calme et propre. Nos hotes furent particulierement acceuillant et aidant. Nous avons egalement fait une promenade en canoe dans les backwater en reservant avec Jose. Ce fut typique et depaysant. Une tres bonne adresse !

What an incredible experience has been my cruise around the Alleppey backwaters. Jose's boat is just marvelous. It has a nice bedroom, a kitchen with a cook and nice resting area in front where you can enjoy the wonderful sightseeing. Since the dimensions of boat allows it, you are able to see all the small canals that you cannot reach with a big boat, and have a glimpse to the countryside directly facing the canal's waters. Passing the night in the quiet of the lake, with the sun setting over the waters, is the icing on the cake. So much recommended. Don't miss the opportunity for a cruise with Jose.

We had a wonderful stay here! Everything was good, rooms very clean and the people very kind and helpful and attentive. I needed help with booking a bus and the owner was absolutely willing to help me out with organizing everything. I would recommend that place for people who are looking for a cozy and homely stay!
