Very nice place, seasonal exhibitions are conducted here. The stalls are culturally diverse and the products and ranges are wide too. We can get to experience some of the finest arts and crafts from all over India.

A academy for art, dance and culture founded by Arundel Madam. It have huge area for teaching purpose. Many people get benefit of this academy. It is a college for cultural activties.

Very happy that exhibits were by physically challenged people by central govt.could buy dresses for my children.handmade products.many stalls carried nice stuff.there was a speech impaired person selling handprints duppatas from Kolkata.hand embroidered blouse bits.nice curtains handpainted from Bangalore at nominal rate.wish more exhibitions encouraging physically challenged persons are put up in future. Hand made jewellery.and cultural activities in evening which made it lively.

Visited the place for the Program named VITASTA 2023, A cultural program organised by Govt. Of India which said 'Kasmir coming to Chennai'. Kalakshetra Foundation was the perfect place for the program to be conducted. If you need some peaceful relaxed time away from the busy city life,this is the place for you. Calm and quiet atmosphere. Everything was art there. Must visit.

Good place to buy clothes, material, decoratives and snacks

I went to The Great Indian Flea Market here, had amazing stuff! As you can see in the pictures, it had right from home decor to jewellery to sarees. Do visit during noon to avoid the rush and should peacefully. I was told by them that they have the Mela very often. And stalls sometimes change but some of them are constant. Parking slots are good, and is wheelchair accessible too!

Went for the Kala Sante exhibition. Amazing collection of handlooms and handicrafts. Quaint space and easily reachable.
