Kalaguru Bishnu Rabha Smriti Udyan - Tourist attraction in Tezpur - Sonitpur, India

Bishnu Rabha is a true legend, not only in Assam,but also in India. Any rewards for his works will be less. But to my opinion,this place should be preserved more beautifully than its present condition. We visited the place on Christmas 2017. Entry fees is INR 5/ for an adult. A good place to visit in Tezpur with the Brahmaputra flowing nearby.

Near The brahamaputra river the nature is very good and concept of Kalaguru Bishnu Prashad Rabha in the park where he was buried , is very intersting . Must visit .

The cremation spot of Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha. Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha Smriti Udyan has been set up as a memorial park to honour the legend Bishnu Prasad Rabha. It is located in the banks of the mighty Brahmaputra River in a plot ajacent to the Bhairavi Temple. People often visit here to pay homage to the cultural icon of Assamese language Bishnu Rabha for his contributions in the fields of music,dance , literature, painting as well as in the field of political activism. Do visit.

Great place but highly ignored one by our the government. Serious actions must be taken to preserve this place and keep it neat and tidy. After all BPR was a real jewel and we must not disrespect him in his after life
