Kalabavan Mani Park - Park in Chalakudy - Thrissur, India

This is a park built by the Chalakudy Municipal Corporation in memory of Kalabhavan Mani. It is a very good place to relax and take a walk in the evening. In the evenings, this peaceful place also has musical performances... It is a very good place to spend some time with kids and family... There is also a small play area for children.... This is a good option for those who want to come in the evenings and listen to songs and sit in peace.... There is also a footpath for those who come for a walk. One round walk is 320 meters. It is open from 5 am to 8 30 am and from 4 pm to 8 30 pm. Ample parking facility is available here. Toilet facility is also available here...

A good place to visit in the evening once sun sets down. Since there is not much wood shade it ll not be a good idea to visit before the evening.. rides for children are available. Amble space to walking and jogging available. There s an open stage where visitors can also participate in singing. No facilities for refreshments available inside. Visiting is free of cost. .

Really nice park to spend evening with family. There is ample car parking space. Park is open in morning (5-8am) and evening (4-8pm). Kids play area is good with swings. There is also walking and jogging track as well. Enough benches are there to sit and relax. When we went it started raining and good thing is they have roofed sitting area. So it's really nice to be there and enjoy the rain. They have washroom facility near parking. Overall good and well maintained park

One of the good park in Chalakkudy. Morning and evening a lot of people come here for walking. A walking trail available here. Morning 5AM TO 8:30AM and evening 4PM to 8:30PM park entry available. Best place to spent evening time with family and kids. No entry fees for here and wash room available here.

During the visit with Cyclers Thrissur for the Brotherhood Ride on Sept 4, we arrived here early morning. The park has no entry fee but it has specific times. The place is kept absolutely clean and the restrooms are also well maintained as a part of Suchitwa Mission. Good place to visit with family also. It's also very close to highway and hence is easily accessible in public transport.
