Kakoijana Natural Park - Park in Thakurani Khora Para - Bongaigaon, India

Best place to hangout with your close buddies, if you are planning to have some fun with some tracking just go for it.

The location of the park is near the highway side. 21 km from Bongaigaon town,maximum 45 mnts need to reach the place. Very neat n clean. Parking spot is fully available(car/bike) The forest is famous for golden langur but as for my suggesstion we can see golden langur specilly in the evening time,what I have seen. Beautiful view is also sweetable for Photograph.

Place is clean and staff are so polite and helpfull. But need to develop their structures.

I always prefer quint places and this is one of such kind. We needed a break from the busy daily life. We stayed in the only homestay Kakeya resort (they call it resort but it's more a home stay with only 2 rooms and small area )available in the village upper Rabhapara , owned by Shankar Rabha and his friends. The natural park , a reserve forest and proposed wildlife sanctuary is famous for golden Langurs. Thick teak wood forest on the hills also make this different from other forests. Pythons are commonly found here in rainy season and bark dears are also seen if one is lucky enough. To see the golden langur, one has to track to the hillocks for one and half km to 3km. If one is lucky ,lagurs are seen in the upper rabhapara village also ,where the reserve is situated. One small spring passing through the village in the foothills of the hillock is originated at the hilltop named by the locals Aaijhora.

Kakoijana- Ujan Ravapara, a perfect example of Human-animal mutualism, where community initiatives have not only helped in the conservation of endangered GOLDEN LANGUR but also effected growth of Golden langur population. A pristine place to go for trekking amidst the Adobe of Golden Langur
