It is a single celled megalithic burial chamber with a circular hole ventilation. Carved out of a laterite stone with a broken pillar base and a platform for laying the remains for the secondary burial. There are steps for climbing down but the entrance is very narrow. Wonderful place to visit

Ancient cave situated near Kunnamkulam town , Every time going ahead of it when I traveling to Kunnamkulam town but I have had no luck to visit this cave yet.....Sad I really missing always..... :-( and exited.....

Good place. But not a tourist place. Its a small place in a Kakkad village. 2km from Kunnamkulam town
