The major railway station of Kakinada. All the trains start from here. There is no proper route to reach the station. The entire way should be maintained by the Railway dept.
This is a recently renovated railway station in Kakinada. Usually people who does not have a reservation will come here to travel in general compartment. Popular trains like Seshadri, circar exp, Gowthami Start from here. This railway station is very well maintained. But there are no shops available here to purchase water bottles and eatables. Usually this place is very crowded. If you have a confirmed reservation ticket better go to town railway station than comming here.
Port railway station comes under Suryanarayanapuram area. This is a slum area. Most of the residents here are working as daily labor in port. Few government establishments are located here. Food Corporation of India, Anchorage port, Port office, Customs house, Marine police station and Sarvaraya textiles are included in this area. Area also includes customs quarters and railway quarters. This is the last stop for all the trains reaching Kakinada town.
Decent platform with only basic amenities. Cleanliness is ok but not al major stuff is available.
It is a best place and a silent, peaceful area But we can't find a wifi here We can't find restrooms also It is a hygenic area Totally it is a satisfying place
Kakinada Port is a large complex comprising Kakinada Anchorage Port, Kakinada Deep Water Port, Kakinada Fishing Harbour and Ship-Breaking Unit.
