The waterfall will have water well into the monsoon and post-monsoon. Even in early July this year (2023), there was no water.
However, the place is beautiful. A deep gorge between green mountains is the highlight.
The main area will have tourists and commercial sellers and quite a few monkeys. My suggestion, therefore, is to walk away and around the gorge. You can walk for a good kilometre or so on the mountain top.
Though the waterfall looks OK, the water falling through it is dirty and polluted. Hence I didn't felt nice while looking at it but sorry.
Absolutely gorgeous valley or the water fall. The time when we visited the water fall was very very tiny so nothing to see there. However the breathtaking valleys are what you will love. It's a perfect picturesque location to go to. There is a small alleyway to go a bit down towards the valley you will find small mandir there. Just be very careful as to not slip and fall.
The place is located on the way to Mandu and is great scenic beauty... view would be awesome in Monsoon.

place can be kept cleaner than what it is now .... Water before fall isn't very clean due to the polythenes and wafer packets dumped by tourists...

Kakda kho water fall is amazing. That view in monsoon or winter is beautiful very beautiful in rainy days . Food are available.
Wonderful scenic place, Lord shiva temple just near this place. As you park your vehicle outside entrance with parking charges of rs 20 you will find many shops of fresh lime soda, jaljeera water, corns, fresh banana chips, water bottles etc. Everything costing between 20 to 50 rs each I would suggest not to bargain with such small vendors since they devote a lot of time catering all these stuff and sitting at this secluded place for sale. On entrance you will find black face monkeys(kaale muh ke bandar) they can grab your food stuff so be careful. Make sure to carry few bananas on road to feed these monkeys and to benefit monetarily these small fruit vendors. This place gives a very beautiful picture of surroundings with small waterfall in monsoon months. Camel rides are offered in 150rs a camel with 2 people sitting. You will also find few kids having bow and arrow in hand, they actually are tribals with inborn talent of arrows. They charge 5 rs a chance to hit bottle. Make sure to respect talent and hit a few chances to monetarily help them.
Dirty, unkempt, unorganised. Could have been easily a nice neat waterfall attraction but the sense of neglect by authorities is second to none. Avoid this place even if you are visiting Mandav. you have better attractions waiting for you once inside the town.
Worth a watch but best in Monsoon and post monsoon ... Amazing view and very easy to access...and safe too. You park hardly 50-100 meters away and you are there...only problem are lot of hawkers are there and government is doing nothing to restrict them ... Atleast they should not be allowed near site.

Great spot to know about dinosaurs and their habitation. Small museum with fossils and egg models of dinosaurs. Very informative place about ancient creatures and dhar region. Must visit. There is a small amount of entry fee to enter the park.
