ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! This place is like the soul of Bengali cuisine in the heart of Pune!! I am so happy my student suggested this place to me, and I am now ordering regularly. Not only is the quality and taste of every dish just as fabulous as what my parents prepare at home, it's super healthy and the portion size is so large that each delivery lasts me at least 2 to 3 meals, at such a reasonable price! Being a biryani fan, we have ordered from Kaka's kitchen earlier. But this time we decided to pick up ourselves. We ordered few mutton biryani dishes and 1 chicken biryani as take away. When we finally reached our home in Viman Nagar, and started having the dish. We figured the rice was not as fresh as it was earlier. And then in 2 packets we found the mutton pieces are from mutton curry. It was so obvious that curry was visible in those two packs. And even the mutton pieces were oozing with curry. The other 2 packs had biryani mutton pieces. Taste: Deteorated significantly Ethics: Felt betrayed

I can confidently endorse this place to be the source of authentic bengali cuisine in Pune. I keep visiting the shop for their Biriyanis, which can at ease compete the Kolkata magnets like Arsalan, etc. Ranadeep da, the owner is extremely polite and helpful in case you are stuck selecting your menu and deliveries as well. They have a wide spread of customised Bong cuisine which includes traditional bengali dishes and chinese as well. Must visit to this takeaway bong joint in Pune.
