Surely the worst hotel. Had very bad experience with the hotel owner. 3 of us went to hima and booked for one chicken and rice order. He told us to come after 30 min,and told that our meal will be ready. Took advance of 100 rs. After one hour when we enquired about our food he angrily replied that chicken is still cooking and he cannot tell about rice. And argued that we are pressurising him continuously. At that moment we couldn't find any food as alternative meal.very bad experience ever.
Had a great experiences....The behavior of the hotel owner and his wife is so much good...
The food quality is very good as well..And moreover the hospitality is just touched our hearts....

I find this place to b serving autentic country chicken preapared in the best way. The price might be a bit high, but you will get what you pay for. For us city dwellers this was the right place to have country chicken. The spices were comfortable to the palate, not to spicy, nor bland. The behaviour of kaka and kakima is very nice. I strongly recommend this place.
Good. Quite a few books regarding the history of Garh Panchakot and the dynasty are available at this hotel.
It's a small food shop on the lap of the hill. Here you can get all type of food like tea,Maggie ,toast, bread,pakora, muri,chop,rice,desi chicken, etc. Shop owner is very friendly and co operative. He can guide you the place and help you to climb on the hill. You must go to the mandir on the hill.

Mihir Da (the owner) is a good man providing great hospitality.. Great food.. One should try Desi Chicken.The actual name is Maa kalyaneshwari Hotel..
It is a small hotel situated at GARPANCHAKAT, PURULIA.Cold drinks,snacks,water bottles all are available here.You can eat lunch here.But you give to order in advance.Because they prepare fresh food.If you want to eat chicken then you have to tell them amount such as 1 kg or 1.5 kg.You can also give them order of any other vegetables,dal,curries, pickles etc.They really cook very nice.I ate desi chicken from this hotel and the cooking was awesome.Some local made masks are available here.Overall the foods of this hotel are cheap.My suggestion to all please try once at least desi chicken curry from this hotel.
On the foothills of Panchakot is situated the ruins of Panchkot palace and fort. Its this historical fort bearing the evidence of Bargi attack in Bengal which gives its name the Garpanchakot. Only 5 hours drive from Kolkata, Garpanchkot is enchanting
Very nice well maintained and renovated historic place. Dilapidated walls speaks off the past. A waterfall and hill temple also present on the panchet hill fir which a entry fee of 5rupees is charged.
