Kairali Palace Homestay - Hotel in Kumily - Idukki, India

It's the 3rd time we stay at Kairali and we're always so happy! The rooms are big, clean and nice, so are the bathrooms. It is run by a family and they're always super welcoming, helpful and flexible. It's always such a breeze to stay there when it's so busy outside. We will definitely keep coming back and recommend this place!

The homestay is located in the prime area of Thekkady, and the ambiance, along with the surroundings, was great. The price was very reasonable for the service and the rooms provided. Our family of 11 members stayed there for a night. The rooms were very clean, and the homestay was fully decorated with green plants, giving a pleasant and relaxing feeling to the mind. The family who is running this homestay was kind and helpful. We got free towel, bottle drinking water and soap. Its family friendly and kid friendly place. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone.

The review shown is all false positives.we check-in in the homestay we were not provided drinking water bottle not there was any water provided in bottles..we had to bear the expense. The washroom was ok we just provided one soap for washroom.we had to buy soap for bathroom. The bath water was dirty when we inform the owner he was speaking rudely with us bcoz we had disturbed his sleep. Not a good place to stay with family. Please avoid and will let others know as well.

The owner very nice, helps you in everything you need, also you can get very good recommendations on what to do. Good location.

Mr. Nitheesh has done an excellent job in maintaining this property. It felt like home. The rooms were clean. Property is located in close proximity to the main bazaar and park. The terrace/porch is really cozy. Definitely recommended. The host, Mr. Nitheesh is also very humble and friendly person with knowledge about the local whereabouts.

The room are neat and have a rustic look to it and seating areas outside each room. The rooms are on the first floor and have a nice wooden architecture. The location of the property is very close to the town. The host, Mr Neethish is very friendly and extremely helpful who helped plan our journey further. I would recommend this stay for easy accessibility to the town and value for money for budget friendly travel. Parking could be the only hassle in case there are more then two cars coming, otherwise this place is perfect.

Good property. Has a small parking place to accommodate a car.. Nice location market is at a walking distance.. We enjoyed the morning sunrise from the porch... The owner is also very amicable.. He guided us as to what all activities to be undertaken and food joints..
