good for a bath ther is parking space ... Clean water . nothing more Beautiful place inside Murkinikara. Actually it's an accidental area. Lots of peoples lost their lives in this small chira.

Surprisingly a great place to spend sometime with family and kids, luckily the shutter was open during my time of the visit and it was a great experience. It's all about nature, calmness and the peace around. Water Isn't that shallow and can take a dip in it which will be very refreshing. There is proper tar road to reach this place, it is a bit congested but still cars can make it through this road and can reach till the location easily, parking vehicle will need to be done in the road side itself if there is couple of vehicles it might be congested still manageable. I visited in morning time around 11am and the only thing which raised a concern for me was some random teenagers smoking and littering at this place, there was a small group and they where moving into the paddy field like area and some where staying near the pump station smoking , it was not a pleasant sign especially when you are visiting with kids. Hopefully these kind of things will be avoided and restricted by concerned people in future and keep the place neat and clean.

It's a good place to relax with friends and family, also a great place to have a dip in the water which can be dangerous as the current of the water is strong and there are no security measures or life guards. Public washroom facilities are not available for changing. There are no good hotels or cafes nearby for a quick bite. As the approach road is small, parking is an issue.

A good place to spend evenings enjoying the beauty of the countryside, it is more preferable to go during monsoons.

It is so wonderful place. I prefer to visit when peechi dam is open especially when it is monsoon. You can take good photos. You can play in water too. But it is your own risk about your life. There is no safety measures and no life gaurds. You can go in private bus. There is no parking facility. But this place is one of the best nature's gift to humans.

Seems to be an unexplored place by tourists. Little litter. Being a bit remote, this place is a favourite spot for localities. We have to ensure safety on our own.

Very beautiful place. Near by puthur. Peace place. Just 10 km from Thrissur railway station. And also need caring.
