In search of a quick meal, I decided to check out Kailash Hotel, a place that had been on my "Want to Go" list for a while, recommended by several people. Initially, I was a bit skeptical when I saw the exterior, as it didn't seem very inviting. However, once I stepped inside, I found the interior to be decent for a local, small Indian eatery. A brief look at the menu revealed a limited selection of dishes, but I had heard that they excelled at what they did. I opted for the plain dosa, which was served with South Indian sambar and coconut chutney. The service was prompt, and the dosa they served was both enormous and perfectly crispy and hot, offering great value for money. The sambar, as recommended by many, had a delicious flavor, though it was a tad tangier than my personal preference. Nonetheless, it was quite authentic compared to what I've had in South India. On the downside, the chutney didn't meet my expectations; it tasted a bit bland and overly diluted. One area where Kailash Hotel could improve is its overall appearance. A makeover could potentially attract more customers, although they are already doing well in terms of food quality. I look forward to exploring more of their menu on my next visit.

Kailash Hotel is situated at GNB road Tinsukia , near Senairam H.S. School. In front of Lohia road also. It is a complete vegetarian hotel. South Indian dishes specially Idli , Dosa and Chole Bhotore are also available in this hotel but the price of items are high.

Had the first taste of Masala Dosa in Kailash Hotel way back in 1992. The place is still the same, more or less and gives me nostalgia. They are consistent with the quality of food and snacks. Love to sip the "Chai" with 'Samosa and or Gulab Jamun'

Place is good for a variety of items. I have tried Masala Dosa & Chole Buture which I found to be spicy & tasty. Do try it!

I used to visit for dosa earlier as a kid and it was amazing, but now the quality has degraded and maybe due to cost cutting

The hotel is at the heart of the town. Food is tasty. Many years back I had Nagina chat it was superb.

I still remember that evening in the year 1996, when I along with the members of my family and a few of our acquaintances ate the "Nagina Kachori" at Kailash Hotel. How pleasant were those days!
