Kailasappara Hill Top (Nedumkandam City View Point) - Tourist attraction in Nedumkandam - Idukki, India

Untouched gem in Idukki district. Famous for the Siva temple and can enjoy the festival during shivratri. It's just a few kilometres from Nedumkandom town and no proper transportation. You can use jeeps, off-road supporting cars and bikes to reach here . Dangerous hike so need to be careful while climbing up.

It is nearby Ramakalmedu. From Nedumkandam 13km is to Ramakalmedu and a few Km is to Thekkady. Munnar also few km away from Nedumkandam. We visited this place early morning..it was little bit foggy and misty but every thing was visible . Both the place and climate was awasome .....

A serene atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for observing both sunsets and sunrises. It's a fantastic location to immerse yourself in and unwind during a wonderful weekend getaway.

Best place to clear your mind. Best time to visit: early morning or evening. Sunrise with clouds over the mountains makes you feel on top of fhe world. Sunsets are bliss.
