Here, as like other hostel in amrita are cleaned wash rooms, floors, 24/7 water facility, WiFi and 4 people per room which is comfortable but the main problem of food is not much tasty. For faculties Mess and accommodation fee is comparatively less than students's bill. Food quality is fine for the faculties because of they charge very less by the institute but not for students.

Kailasam is second year boys hostel for Amrita University,it's better than first year hostel.Rooms are spacious and there are four students per room.There is a small games area which has table tennis,carrom board and a small area with a TV(mainly used for cricket matches)apart from the food rest is good.

Visited this place as a guest during a competition, well maintained place and very much safe to stay there and the food quality was so good

Great place... 10/10 as a boys hostel
