Man made wonder. Spectacular and amazing work. It is hard to believe that it is man made structure. It is single rock cut temple, somewhat destroyed by Muslim kings, but still it is wonderful experience to visit it. Must visit place at least once

Tip - Do not get a guide from outside. They will charge you 800-1200 and they are not even allowed to go inside the temple because inside there are government approved guides only. They charge about Rs. 500-800 and will explain you everything in detail. Don't get fooled by outside local guides. This temple will surely make you proud as an Indian.

This is Masterpiece. It's hard to believe that this magnificent temple is carved out of single rock without the help of any modern civil engineering techniques available in today's era. One can feel oneself too tiny while observing the elephant carving on back side of temple.

Title: A Divine Marvel Carved in Stone - Kailas Temple, Maharashtra My recent visit to Kailas Temple in Maharashtra was nothing short of a spiritual revelation. This awe-inspiring masterpiece, entirely carved from a single stone from top to bottom, stands as a testament to ancient craftsmanship and devotion. As I entered the temple premises, I was immediately captivated by the intricate carvings that narrate tales from the Ramayana and Mahabharata. Each detail etched into the stone seemed to breathe life into the legends, creating a sacred atmosphere that resonated with the rich cultural heritage of India. The sheer magnitude and precision of the temple's construction left me in wonder. From the majestic architecture to the intricate depictions of mythological stories, Kailas Temple is a divine marvel that speaks volumes about the artistic prowess and dedication of its creators. The spiritual energy within the temple is palpable, drawing visitors into a profound connection with the divine. As I explored the labyrinthine corridors adorned with symbolic carvings, I couldn't help but marvel at the seamless fusion of art and spirituality. In essence, Kailas Temple is not just a place of worship; it's a living testament to the rich tapestry of Indian mythology and architectural brilliance. A visit to this wonder is not merely a journey through stone-carved corridors but a spiritual odyssey that lingers in the heart and soul. If you seek a place that transcends the boundaries of art and spirituality, Kailas Temple is an absolute must-visit.

Very impressive structure. One keeps wondering about the methods employed by the builders to construct this monument. Feels proud to be a part of our great "Indian experience" .

Verul is near Aurangabad. Verul - Kailasa temple is a UNESCO world heritage site. The most popular monument of all, the world-famous Kailasa Temple is a part of the Brahmanical group of caves (13-29). The Kailasa Temple is in Cave 16, and is one of the most beautiful temples in the world. The Ellora Caves not only bear witness to three great religions (Buddhism, Brahminism and Jainism) but they also illustrate the spirit of tolerance, characteristic of ancient India, which permitted these three religions to establish their sanctuaries and their communities in a single place, which thus served to.

This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Main attraction of Ellora caves situated in the middle of park. It is an architectural marvel that took 200 years to build by multiple generations, cutting single stone from top to bottom. Shows the rich vision and craftsmanship of its architects. There is a good spot on hilltop at the right side to view top of the temple.
