Kadyavarcha Ganpati SG - Tourist attraction in Matheran, Maldunge - Raigad, India

Deboard at Neral station and take share taxi going to matheran charges 100 rs and ask driver to stop at Peb fort trek base point. Trek on railway track up to 2 km and reach there. Best place for visit Ganpati Bappa, As it is surrounded with Nature after 40 min walk you will able to see Ganpati bappa and that is most satisfactory moment. awsome view from all side need to walk on railway track.

This place is must visit in monsoon while to going to Peb Fort trek in Matheran you will get to see Kadyavarcha Ganapati. One who is having prior trek experience only attempt in the Monsoon.

You have to walk to reach at the destination for at least half an hour, if you have problem trekking to even short distance don't go. But if you can walk considerably then it's worth to cut the distance.

If you are traveling from pune you can catch a train from Pune station and get dropped at karjat station. Take a local from karjat to neral station (15 min journey) from neral station you can take a cab for matheran hill station 100 RS per person

We were not able to see the ganpati due to dense fogg. How to reach at locn: stop at last track on matheran ghat(3rd if you are going up and 1st while coming down). Park your vehicle there and trek for 30-45 mins depending on your speed. Enjoy the mountains and railway track scenaries. There is small gate on right side just look for the gate. There is ghanti(bell) on track from where you will get the full view of ganpati and come back from there and look for the small gate(kaman) from where you have to go down to visit temple.
