Nice park with a long walking area which is well paved. Also good play area for kids and exercise area which was recently renovated. The road in front of the park is also veing beautified. However visitors park their vehicles on the road rather than in designated parking area causing some congestion on mornings, evenings and holidays.
It's so much better than what it was when I was a kid. Nice for walks or run early in the morning or evenings. There may be a puddle or two if it rains on the interlocks. Many events get organized here like flower show, dog shows, cultural events etc. Lot of small eateries also available. Play area for kids also available.

Park is well maintained, hats off to the Mangaluru corporation. Can see many people from the age 1 - 60 years may be more than 60 years inside the park. Mostly it is used for walking, some are doing exercise in stone bench. Many stone benches are there to sit and relax, can spend their precious time with nature. There is a separate place for children play ground. Children will definitely love this place. Also, some machines like twister, cycling, drive wheel are present to reduce the body fat. Everybody can make use of this park. Instead of spending lots of time in malls and pubs, spend few hours here in a weekend. Now there is a train, kids will definitely enjoy.
