Kadi Dam near Shiyapur Town Gujarat This is basically on the Narmada Main Canal, the main important thing is here is the National Thermal Power Sub Station-1 is located here. Kadi is the Industrial town near Ahmedabad and having Ginning Factories for Cotton and hence main manufacturer town if Edible oils like Cotton Seeds and other many Edible Oil giant factories are located near Kadi Town. Another important thing is there is Narmad Main Canal flowing and make a ' y-Junction " to separated here a branch canal of Narmada Canal Network. Looking to the site of Kadi Canal at Kadi Dam it is quite peacefull and cool area and perfectly fit for picnic numbers of temples are located in nearby area and the family picnic is highly preferable at this location mainly this site is only 45 km away from Ahmedabad City. Visited so many times in different season, naturally in monsoon this location is looking quite peaceful and beautiful.

Really good place to visit for some light time away from city. Must visit on weekdays to actually enjoy the dam's water. Weekend tends to be more crowded. Good for fun Awesome place and awesome atmosphere. In Monsoon season it was very attractive and photogenic.
A good place to chill around near Ahmedabad! The weather is cool and breezy. You might not want to encounter a lot of people so would suggest you to go early in the morning or noon!

A lesser-known extremely beautiful location. Sunset here is a sight to watch! The sweet sounds of the gushing water fills you up with an unmatched inner calm. Even the entire drive to reach this location is quite scenic with water on one side and greenery on the other side.

Amazing place for peaceful and natural atmosphere with chirping birds and sound of flowing water. I gone there by bicycle ride.. it was almost 102 km ride both side. Enhoyed a lot
