Kadana Dam ( Hill View Point ) - Tourist attraction in Vaghadiyani Andhari - Mahisagar, India

One of the best place to view sunset!! The sunset point is one the most popular place in Bakor region. The parking area at here is quite huge to accommodate large number of vehicles. Even though, on peck season, parking area gets cramped. there was no entry fee. I would highly recommend to reach this place before 1 hour of sunset time. This would ensure to get you the sweet spot to enjoy the fullest. The seating area was quite clean at the time of arrival. There were few dustbins available to help to keep that way.

Fantastic location close to Ahmedabad the atmosphere is incredible and you must there before sundown to catch the sunset because there is a small amount of trekking to do. However, you can also go there by car, but I like to walk there because the journey is better than the destination.

The road to reach here is bumpy, narrow and primitive but the hill offers spectacular view of Kadana dam and reservoir it has created. There's large statue of Birsa Munda here facing the temple of lord Shiva. Rocks here are dated back to Mesoproterozoic period and were once part of ancient ocean floor.

This reservoir (dam) is filled of natural beauty scenes. There are different view points, some are at high point and one is at ground level. I will recommend this place for family picnic and one day adventure activities.
