Kadalundi Balettan's Karimeen And Rice Food Court - Restaurant in Kadalundi - Kozhikode, India

Have been their twice. Meals with fish fry is famous. Meals was not good when I went there three years ago. But now their meals is good. Tried their chembally fry which taste delicious. Also Balettan and his staff's are very polite and behave well with all.

Balettan's at Kadalundy is seafood heaven. Period. But it's not just the food that makes you go there and be totally awed. It's the *hospitality*. Good old kozhikoden comfort that makes you feel at home, like you are on a casual banter with your friendly uncle. Balettan & family wants you to eat to your heart's content but not leave any food to waste on the elas (bananas leaves) on which the dishes are served. You have to get there a little early (by 12-12:30 pm) to find space since it gets very busy. Located close to the sea , as an extension of his own house, the place serves fresh catches, cooks them to perfection (in decadent nadan masalas) and serves it with a smile no matter how busy the day is. The meals by itself is nothing above average, but the fish is incredibly tasty and the experience is delightful. The salty sea breeze, some piping hot fish fry and honest hospitality, thats Balettan's for us.

If you love fish you are definitely going to enjoy the place, I had karimeen and thirutha but karimeen taste good than the other, seems this hotel is famous for karimeen fry... Do not expect much ambience, with limited seats and less ventilation but if you are an ardent fan of fish you gonna love the place... Please confirm the rates before you order.

The food here is interesting Especially the fish-fed meals.The fried fish is very popular here. The roasted fish is a major attraction here.But you won't find any good furniture systems here.Moreover, there are no amenities other than a restaurant.However, people come here from far away for food.From here, we get the traditional food

Must visit for all the fish lovers because the fish fry recipe is unique of its kind. It is better to call and book if you plan with your family as it will be very crowded during the afternoon time and will have to wait else. The premises are not great as it is an average structure extended from house. The hospitality of the owner is really good and they have different varieties of sea and river fishes. Rates might be felt slightly high but considering the taste it is ok to pay for a family time.

Friendly approach,fish fry was not that much of high level, which I get feedback from YouTube and all .normal only and the masala given with fish fry was nice 250rs for one pics ayikora fry over all good not not upto the hype

5 Star for the food. Don't expect a nice cozy restaurant. The fish fry is unique so you can't really compare the prices, but I felt they are reasonable. You need to be patient as the seats are limited and the dining facility is small.

Nice place for meals and tasty fish fry. It is very near to kadalundi river. If you are group of people of 6 or 7,please order just one fish fry.. Because fish fry here is very huge. We were group of 4 and we couldnt finishd half of fish fry. Best place for fish lovers
