KADAL THE BEACH HOUSE - Guest house in Puducherry - Pondicherry, India

Recently stayed at Kadal The Beach House. We had booked the entire property for our 2 night stay. This is located pretty close to the Serenity beach and has easy access from the main road. The property is very nicely made, with careful selection of furniture and decor. It has a nice swimming pool to relax. The kids had a great time in the pool and was definitely the saving grace, given the weather in Pondicherry now. The rooms are very well appointed with large spaces and beds good enough to accommodate 3 adults. Couple of rooms had an open bathroom, which gave a real feeling of being at a villa in Bali. The caretaker Krishna was always available and ensured our stay was peaceful. The villa has large sit out spaces tastefully furnished with beautiful furniture and decor. We had a great stay. Breakfast served was nice with good options, but would have preferred hot and freshly made at the villa. Overall an A+ villa that becomes A++ if you book the entire space.

It was clean and compact, well planned rooms. We had a great time staying there. You can cook your own food, everything available for cooking. It's also 20mins walk from serenity beach

It's a awesome place for family as well as for the couples. Staff members are so polite and helpful . Ambiance is too good for relaxation and and it's a peaceful stay can happen easily .serenity beach is just 3 minutes from this location .We can order food and breakfast from outside . Truly amazing place to stay .

Perfect place to have a private party. The pool is beautiful and has a deep end too. Three big rooms perfect for a group of about 10 but you can rent individual rooms too. Breakfast spread is really good. Fridge is loaded with goodies and there is a fully equipped kitchen with masalas and oil. Cutlery is of premium quality. If informed in advance they'll arrange for a BBQ too. Parking is on the road and pretty narrow. Noise proofing is bad. Beware of the mosquitoes.

Approach road is narrow and dusty and no parking. But it's a beautiful house with all amenities good breakfast and clean swimming pool. Good if 3 families go and take entire villa to themselves as you get complete privacy. Staff is very courteous and ambience is good. Only problem is the mosquitoes at night for which the staff are doing a lot but still it persists. They have beautiful open sit outs but it's a pity it can't be used as mosquitoes take over in the evenings. Still I would recommend for families who need to spend quality time in a good ambience.

Not worth for the 7k per night you pay for a room. All you get is just the swimming pool for it.. The rooms are not maintained properly. For this price you can get a superb room in star hotels.. Don't be deceived with the word beach house

Beautiful property close to serenity beach. It's nestled a bit away from the main access to the beach thereby calmer than most places in the area. This inward looking bungalow has three comfortable rooms with a gorgeous pool. The bathrooms are amazingly designed. Staff is approachable and very hospitable. Pondicherry is a 10 minute ride in a rental scooter.

Very authentic local and cultural stay experience. It is a nice rustic villa property. We got very authentic and assorted south indian breakfast with gun powder chutney too tasty. There is a pool available and place is very serene
