Loved the elegant rooftop setting for the BBQ buffet. Honestly, the starters (grill) were just perfect. The marination was on point. The main course was equally great. Head to this place in the night to enjoy the overall experience in an even better manner.

Popular Restaurant is a household name in Udupi. But there is a good news for foodies. Popular restaurant has come up with an unlimited buffet that includes soups, kebabs, bajjis, biryani, roti, curries, desserts and welcome drink. This all you can eat buffet at 599/- I tried the Vegetarian dishes it was pretty good. Amazing buffet, good ambience and service mutton Rogan gosh was delicious and this restaurant serves good biryani, it's definitely worth a try .

Very good interiors of the first floor family restaurant. Food was good. Appetizer was a bit salty, but it was tasty. Chicken Biryani was very good actually, better than many other restaurants in Udupi. Good place for family parties. The staff are friendly. Even though the servers are new, but the hospitality is really good. Cleanliness is well maintained. Haven't tried the unlimited bbq on the roof top restaurant. Hopefully, that will also be good. Will update once i check it out.

Visited the family restaurant on 1st floor on May 5, 2019. Opted non-vegetarian ala carte. Chicken kebab was very poorly cooked. Butter chicken and Nan was the savior. Pro's - neat and clean, clean washrooms. Con's - only one waiter for all the tables, Card swipe doesn't work, AC was huffing and puffing to cool the only two tables that were occupied.

Worst experience ever, stale food and worst service ever.asked the squid to do a lil extra roast said not possible. ordered food for takeaway...they forgot to give when went back to ask.. They started fighting with each other, blaming each other. Even the owner is such an illiterate not just in terms of education as a basic manners or basic common sense manner less people.. They started to argue just for the forgotten takeaway.. They should be thrown away from the city since they are screwing the respect of Udupi such a BAd Restaurant to EVEN STEP IN.. HOPELESS WORST HOTEL EVER.

Pretty bad food served. Not recommend anyway. The price tag is very high compare to the quantity of food served. Will never visit this restaurant anyway.
