Kabbaladurga - Mountain peak in Alur - Ramanagara, India

Yesterday I visited this place.its around 60km from Bangalore..Road to this place is nice and well connected.sufficient parking space available.Start climbing early in the morning.Its moderate difficulty level trek.Now there are steps.in the initial stretch that made trekking easier.There are rocky areas but not so difficult.It will take 1.5hrs to reach top.There is a temple at the top and view from the top is beautiful.Beware of monkeys at the top.Don't give eatables to them.You need to have good grip shoe.Bring sufficient water as nothing available from top.Early morning nit at all crowded.

This trek is a moderate to difficult trek, make sure to wear good trekking shoes as the trek path is mostly rocky and less of mud. Please carry water, a couple of snacks, a hat or cap when you go up during the day. In the beginning of the trekking trail there are monkeys, be careful about them, you can keep a stick with you. The rocks are a bit steep in some places, some places have steps carved on the rock which makes it a bit easier to climb up. There are no shops in the vicinity for you to buy things unless you reach down to get some water and cucumber. It takes decent stamina to reach the top and come back. Its good to wear a knee support because it's rocky trekking trail. It will easily take 2 hours to climb up after taking mini breaks and climbing up and to reach down will take atleast an hour as well if you take breaks and come slow. Top view is really good

This place is a breathtaking paradise! The majestic mountains transport you to cloud nine, filling your soul with awe and wonder. It's truly a slice of heaven on Earth.

Moderately difficult trek. Easy to find. Lush greenery and peaceful. Best for one day outing. There is parking fee at the bottom if you are taking your vehicle. Also be careful of monkeys on the top

It is one among the Navadurgas ( nine forts) around Bangalore, The trekking distance is approximately 4 to 5 km up and down. There is goddess Kabbalamma and basava temple at the top, almost 80 percent of the trial is inclined while climbing and descent is bit difficult plan accordingly and especially during moonsoon. Carry enough water if you're planning in summer and post moonsoon. View from the top is good and scenic. Avoid treking solo to this place. Also you can find a lot of devotees and trekkers climbing this fort on weekends, holidays, full moon day and new moon day. Note: There is no entry fee or restrictions to visiting this place.

It was nice to trek here, I was medium level of trekking here, I was best for beginners trekking. But go for trekking as morning as possible. And take some water bottle with you . Because you will not find any shops there. For water and all you can ask to the local they will help you.
