Amazing food! One can thoroughly enjoy the authentic North Indian Flavour here. Don't judge the food by how the place looks, just go for it. Decent ambience, amazing food and beautiful hospitality.
Best Gujarati food one can have in Coimbatore. Very affordable and the taste is just amazing. Got a homely feel when I ate there. The phulkas very soft and the channa masala and mix veg gravy were just amazing and mouth watering. Also the lassi was very soothing. Must visit.
The Gujrati Thali is amazingThe paneer Bhurji is a dish that you must try when you visit here

Are you a vegetarian searching for delightful food options in the vicinity of Ganga Hospital? Look no further! Join me on a culinary journey to Kaanchan's Kitchen, a hidden gem just a stone's throw away from the hospital. Accompanied by my son and elder family members, we stumbled upon this culinary haven while seeking a vegetarian haven. To our surprise, Kaanchan's Kitchen is nestled within the premises of the Gujarati Samaj building. What a pleasant discovery! Our visit couldn't have been more timely, as it coincided with the vibrant Navratri festival. The atmosphere was electrifying, with the traditional sounds of Garba, people adorned in colorful and exquisite traditional dresses, folk music and dance performances that transported us to Gujarat itself. The puja ceremonies added a touch of spirituality, making it a wholesome cultural experience. The food arrangements were exceptional. Delicious vegetarian dishes were served with love, ensuring a feast for the taste buds. The best part was the sense of community that enveloped the entire premises, as everyone came together to celebrate the festival. It was heartwarming to witness the sense of togetherness and unity among the people. Our experience at Kaanchan's Kitchen during Navratri was nothing short of amazing. The combination of delectable food, cultural richness, and a sense of belonging left an indelible mark on our hearts. We can't wait to revisit this fantastic place and partake in these delightful activities again. Thank you, Kaanchan's Kitchen, for making our day so memorable. We'll be back soon for another round of fantastic food and incredible cultural experiences. See you soon
I don't know if it was just a really bad day for Thalis or what, but there was no gujarati food as such on the thali. The main menu is also mostly general northindian food, so it's not like you can order any undhiyo or gujarati kadhi or anything. In the Gujarati thali they served: only some fried fryum type thing passed off as farsaan, some roti, plain rice (no gujarati khichdi), one black chana sabzi, one regular indistinguishable cabbage sabzi, spicy dal (not the light sweet type that usually restaurants give) and indistinguishable aloo sabzi. Basically I think it was the regular items from the north indian menu served up as "gujarati thali". I think they're hoping no gujaratis come to eat there so no one will be able to tell the difference. Deeply disappointing. The only thing they get the star for is the staff... they were sweet and attentive. Although it took them a very very long time to start serving. I don't know if they ran out of clean plates or what, because usually a thali is immediately served. Anyhow, wouldn't ever recommend this place. Oh also, there was no sweet with the thali!!! Which self respecting Gujarati thali doesn't include a sweet?!
Amazing homely Gujarati food with extremely friendly staff! Had Aloo Paratha and Paneer Paratha for lunch along with Garlic Methi Paneer sabzi. It tasted very unique and good! Would definitely recommend all Gujarati people to try this restaurant in Coimbatore to get a little closer to home!
Really tasty food especially the fresh phulkas are too good. However they could've included more of Gujarati kathiyawadi cuisine in the menu.
