A devotee told that Jeen Harsh originated in the Chauhan dynasty. Told his whole story and told that when both the siblings became disinterested, they came here and did penance. We all have come here for the first time and we all felt very happy to be here. Harsh and Jeen, two brothers and sisters from village Ghanghu in Churu district, chose a hilltop near Sikar as their abode. After many troubles, when Jeen came here after getting angry with her brother Harsh, the tears that came out of her eyes took the form of kajal. And on the top of the mountain where this mascara was made. Today she is famous all over the world by the name of Kajal Shikra. The giant temple of Jeen Mata on the Sikar Jaipur National Highway has its own identity. Harsh Mandir, Kajal Shikra and other hills near it are world famous as tourist places today.
