Well, Recently I was at K19- All Day Dining By Raddison, Ballyguange, to Attend the launch of Auspicious Durga Puja Menu. Let's start with the decor , It was extremely Great. As soon as you enter the place you find a Buddha Statue (Which serves as the centre of attraction) . The seating area is quite huge with an extended gallery, which is a plus point. The staff was absolutely Courteous and professional. Getting a great staff is truly challenging but this place has it all. The food was really amazing. They had ample variety of dishes to try on. Their buffet for Pujoy Hardcore Hullore consists of : 1. Happy Hours ( 12-3Pm ) - INR 1299. 2. 4 Pm Onwards - INR 1499. Are you still planning for which place to dine in during Durga Puja? Radisson Blu is a worldwide upper upscale hotel brand. Its hotels are found in major cities, key airport gateways and leisure destinations. Radisson Kolkata Ballygunge features dining options, an outdoor pool and a spa. Radisson Blu, Ballygunge is located beside the Gariahat Pantaloons and is easily accessible. Recently visited K19 for my Sunday brunch. K19 All Day Dining restaurant has a chic decor, it is very spacious and covers a vast area with natural light flowing in. The restaurant has a stylish and classy ambience. The average cost for two people is near about Rs.2500. The Sunday brunch buffet costs Rs.1650+ taxes and serves a huge extensive menu which includes different kinds of breads, chats, salads, starters, live pasta counter, soup, main course including Indian, Chinese, Italian and Continental dishes and desserts with unlimited alcohol. Without alcohol the buffet will cost you Rs.1299+ taxes The menu here is huge and the quality is top notch. We started with their chat section which included Puchkas, Dahi Vada, Aloo Chats and many more. The salad section consisted of different types of Veg and non veg salads. Some of them were Raw Papaya Salad, Chicken Salad, Egg Salad. So if you are maintaining your diet strictly then this for you. Next we got our plates ready for the appetizing starters which had Fish Fry, Hara Bhara Kebab and Galouti Kebab. This delicious, crispy & spicy fish fry makes for a great appetizer or a side to a meal. Beautifully rolled up using potatoes, green peas, spinach and a plethora of spices, Veg Hara Bhara Kabab guarantees a wide smile to all the vegetarians out there. Next comes the delectable and luscious Galouti Kebabs, the mutton galouti kebab has minced mutton keema that is mixed along with Indian spice powders tasted amazing and had a distinctive flavour. K19 also offers a live Pasta Section where you can get your favorite pasta cooked infront of you. We got our favorite Pasta in Alfredo Sauce ready infront of us. Classic Alfredo Sauce is a simple but elegant creamy, white sauce that is commonly known to lay over pasta noodles. Adding seasonings and cream cheese for a thick, rich, creamy sauce together makes it simple and irresistible. We started the MainCourse with Khow Suey Soup.Khow suey, is a noodle soup made of egg noodles and curried beef or chicken with coconut milk, served with a variety of contrasting condiments. A squeeze of lemon also adds tanginess to khow suey. Then we had Noodles paired with Chilly Fish in Oyester Sauce, Chicken Biryani, Ghost Stew, Roasted Chicken in Red Wine Juice. Some of the veg items which is highly recommend from their vast menu can be Dal Makhani, Stir Vegetables, Macroni Baked in Alfredo Sauce and Veg Biryani. After a huge spread of salads, chats, starter and main course comes the huge dessert spread. The dessert section consisted of Lemon Tart, Chocolate Mudpie, Baked Boondi, White Forest Pastry, Pineapple Cake, fresh cut fruits and a log cake. All of these are highly recommend. K19 All Day Dining serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. So if you are planning for a sumptous brunch or dinner or if you want to celebrate your special occasions with great food then do visit here.

K19 is fine dining restaurant in upscale area Ballygunge of Kolkata and is a part of 5-Star hotel chain "Radisson Hotel Group". It serves versatile cuisine and one can step in anytime, be it Hunger-Pangs, Meetings, Kitty Parties or maybe for some Classy Date with your partner. K19 to cater Jain Friendly Food For a Jain, eating outside is sometimes a challenge, since you can never be sure of what exactly has gone into your food. Just be sure to inform them about your preferences and they'll curate a delicious menu and will ensure that only Jain suitable dishes reach to your table. Jain friendly food that was served: Tomato Soup was made of fresh tomatoes which was tangy in taste. Veg Sweet corn soup was prepared with carrots and beans which was of right consistency which allowed the taste buds to enjoy the flavors. Clay Oven Roasted Tangy Pineapple Sticks- This Pineapple salad can also be eaten as an appetizer, too. I loved this dish. It was tangy with a tinge of hot spices, yet a bit sweet. Flavoring of the dish was up to the mark and worth a try. Spiral cheese babycorn -It was well crisp and tasted fine with the dips served along. Both the dips added different zing to the dish. Hare Mattar ki Tikki- Tikki was great to eat, wasn't much crunchy yet it was giving all the needed tinge with the dhaniya chutney. Spinach and cheese rolls - who can resist these dainty luscious rolls? Indeed Spinach and Ricotta are great combination. Plus the way it melts in mouth despite the outer side being crunchy. I loved it. Stuffed Green Chili Fritters - Chili Fritters had stuffing of marinated cottage cheese and tinge of hot spices. Try it with mustard chutney; it gives tang-so taste. For Main Course: My Meal Laccha Parantha - Was served hot and ghee was well spread. Malai Kofta - Pretty soft and flavorful Pindi Chana - The added pomegranate earned the brownie points. It was great. Gatte Ki subzi - The gatte were soft and the gravy was just right to taste. Curry Pakodi - Pakodi's were well dipped and curry was sour and sweet to taste. Kurkuri Bhindi - Best to have with rice and dal. Desserts Tiramisu- Italian dessert consisting of layers of sponge cake soaked in coffee and cream with powdered chocolate and mascarpone cheese. Basbousa- The best dessert I ever had! Basbousa is a popular sweet cake made of semolina or farina soaked in syrup. The syrup may also optionally contain orange flower water or rose water. Apple Pie - An apple pie is a fruit pie (or tart) in which the principal filling ingredient is apples.

Eclectic menu, colorful vibes and bespoke service, K19 has multitude ways to make your Sunday's truly memorable. Opulence of a wonderful Buddha statue, a crystal glass door, amazing decor makes you feel tranquil even in the sultry afternoons. With choicest of delicacies from Indian, Continental and Oriental origins prepared flamboyantly, it is impossible to move away from the lip smacking Live Stations. What's the lineup? K19 All Day Dining @radissonkolkataballygunge is currently one of the best among all the buffet places in the city right now. Went there for lunch with my friends last Sunday to cover the Sunday Brunch Buffet. Firstly the decor is very modern with detailed interior designing. Coming to the food : So many cuisines under one roof starting from Continental to North Indian. You will throughly enjoy the food here. They have varieties of options starting from bread and salad to live pasta and chaat counter. The starters section is diverse and few of my recommendations are : Fish Fry, Hara bhara kebab, Dahi Vadas, Puchkas and Papri Chaat and Pasta in Also, if you are a health freak person , K19 has a wide range of salads that are impecabble in taste. Also they have wide range of salads and sprouts section to choose from. Then, from the live pasta counter, i chose the alfredo pasta which was totally rich and creamy. Pasta alfredo is a creamy pasta made with mixed veggies. the creaminess comes from the addition of fresh cream. After that it was tossed with bellpeppers,babycorn, carrots and pinch of red chili flakes. From their vast main course section few of my NON-VEG recommendations will be : KHAO SUEY, CHICKEN BIRYANI, GOSHT STEW, SLICED FISH TOSSED IN OYSTER SAUCE, ROASTED CHICKEN WITH RED WINE JUE. Also tried veg Main - Course and here are my top recommendations : MACARONI BAKED IN ALFREDO SAUCE, STIR FRY VEGETABLES, From the indian section : You have VEG BIRYANI AND DAL MAKHANI which was delectable in taste. Lastly comes the dessert and i alwaysss save the biggest room for desserts and loved the desserts of K19 outta which my top recommendations are : MUDPIE, LEMON TART, DONUTS, FRESH SWEET FRUITS, PINEAPPLE CAKE and WHITE FOREST PASTRY.

K19 is the 24 hour coffee shop and restaurant located on the second floor of Radisson Kolkata (earlier knows as Park Plaza Ballygunge). Very spacious and airy layout. Has a glass walled live kitchen. Even on a sunday it was not very busy. There is a buffet available although its not very elaborate and reviews arent that great. They do have A La Carte options and the choices are deep enough. Pizza is recommended as they have a wood oven. Service is quite slow, we ordered 3 dishes and each of them arrived at 10-15 minute intervals which is surprising for a big hotel like Radisson. Clearly the kitchen was understaffed. Pizzas were good. We also ordered Grilled Chicken which was also decent. However, we ordered Tutti Fruitti which was a huge let down as they put chocolate ice cream in it. We also ordered Vanilla ice cream with hot chocolate sauce but they did not serve the chocolate sauce at all, simple sprinkled a little bit of Hershey's chocolate syrup on 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream. Very dissapointing indeed ! Prices are reasonable considering its Radisson.

Visiting each and every restaurants and pubs of Radisson Kolkata was in my wishlist since a very long time. Finally I visited K19- All Day Dining to try their buffet menu. It is located at the second floor of Radisson. Just beside K19, there is the beautiful pub of Radisson, Nirvana, which I will be covering very soon. Coming to the food, we went to try the Sunday buffet at K-19. The price of the buffet is Rs 1299 + taxes (without alcohol) and Rs 1650 + taxes (with alcohol). In their buffet menu, they have a lot of sections. A chat section, salad and sandwich counter, counter for various kind of breads including donuts and cupcakes, live pasta and spaghetti counter, veg and non- veg main course counters and lastly, everyones' favourite, the dessert section. Lets start with the chat section. This section had a huge number of chats, and ingredients to make the chat more chat patta. There was papri chat, aloo wada, Dahi wada and also phuchka along with pudina chutney and many more. People who love this kind of food, must try all of them. The salad counter had a lot of veggies along with mayonnaise. There were two different kind of sandwiches, one with milk bread and the other one with brown bread. The veggies and sandwiches were really fresh. There were also kimchi, raw papaya, fish and mixed veg, cottage cheese and pepper. Then there was the counter containing hell lot of breads and muffins. You can refer the picture, to check out how many breads they had. There was two types of cupcakes also, one butter flavoured and the other one had choco chips in it. And then there was chocolate donut. The breads were really fresh. The live pasta and spaghetti counter was another eye catching thing. There was kept hell lot of sauces like white sauce, arabiata and many more, spices, veggies like broccoli, babycorn, pea, carrots and so on, and other ingredients for making pasta, macaroni and spaghetti. Just beside that counter, there was kept Indian starters. There was fish fry and three different types of galawati kebab. The fish fillet was great, the fry was crispy and really great in taste. Then coming to the Main Course counter. There was hell lot of veg as well as non-veg dishes. It started with the Tomato basil soup and Khow suey. The complete main course menu was: * Jimkand Ke Kofte(Oal) * Paneer Dum Anari * Subzi Miloni * Veg Dumplings in Manchurian Sauce * Cabbage Poriyal * Veg Biryani * Dal Makhani * Stir fried Vegetables * Three Pepper Noodles * Grilled Mediterranean Vegetables * Boston Bake * Sliced Fish in Oyster Sauce * Gosht Stew * Roasted Chicken with Red Wine * Chicken Biryani. Now coming to the best part, i.e. the dessert section. They had: * Mud Pie * Baked Boondi * Lemon tart * White Forest Pastry * Fry Cake Slice * Pineapple Cake * Fruit counter * Pineapple gateaux * Danish pastry * Chocolate doughnut I have only one thing to tell you guys about the desserts, if you miss a single one of them, that will be your loss. Try each and every one of these desserts. My personal favorite was the Mud pie. Coming to there Ambience and Hospitality: They have a huge dine in area, where they can accommodate around 60-70 heads. They interiors are nice, the atmosphere was cool and calm. Everyone of them were very polite and humble, they were always very helpful. Chef Sukanya took good care of us. Their hospitality is truely appreciable.

For twice I have visited k19 all day dining in the occasion of Mahanabomi, Durga Puja. It is near the Pantaloons, Ballygunge, kolkata. I enjoy being at this place, theme, music and food too.
