I recently had the pleasure of dining at one of the best restaurants in Madurai, and it was an exceptional experience. once upon a time, this restaurant ruled Madurai for its tasty veg and being in hot location -- opposite to bus stand. Now not. Had tea+ vada just today. Worst tea in madurai. Also not best vada too much oily. Also too much salt in chutney.
The food was great The service was good Very hygienic atmosphere Would everyone to try it as it was only the place where I liked it in this area.
The dosas served with different types of chutneys were very good. However, found their toilets on the first floor to be dirty and not well maintained.
Dosa items were fabulous, had taken rava dose, which was crisper, served with varieties of chutneis. Roti and curry items were not nice, but were light to the stomach. Didn't feel heavy though.
The speciality here is the mini snacks Center to the left side of this hotel , you can taste the best of vada and chutney here in this place, it's been more than a decade since I was introduced to this place they still maintain the very same delicious taste not changed one single bit. A must try place for people visiting Madurai.
.when I look for vegetarian restaurant , people recommend the KPS restaurant. I ordered 2 idly with vada 1 pongal with vada in the morning. The idly was more sour taste and I complained to the waiter. He agreed and answered without care. The vada size also very small they charge Rs. 108/- for that. I never expected these kind of food in KPS. My recommendation is don't eat idly in this restaurant you can try other food . Or you can try other restaurants like Vasantham or sabarish are good.
