K.B.LADIES HOSTEL - Girl's Hostel in Thrissur - Thrissur, India

Both my daughters have stayed in this hostel while doing coaching. It's a good location in town area. It's good safety wise for girl students. My daughters have stayed in other hostels too, but they say food here was the best in their experience. They have also taken good care of my daughter when she fell sick once and am thankful since we were abroad that time.

It is a safe place for women who is working and studying.rooms are good .Food is really good it's like homely food.

I got thousands of worms from food. The unhygienic atmosphere in the kitchen leaves the door open for rats and cockroaches. I stayed there for about 9 months and in the beginning everything was fine; Cleaning after the second lock was very rare. There is no safe shelf for storing belongings, no key to lock the room door when you are not in the room, and anyone can enter your room when you go home. They will give your bed to the new entry girls when you are on leave.

From my experience in 2022 this hostel provides less facilities with high rate per month. I was so troubled with the food they provided, me and my friends can't even focus on our studies due to lack of energy. Some of the hostelers were even effected with food infection from their food , then the warden used to give them an ayurvedic medicine everytime . One feels stinky when you see the kitchen area ....it is so untidy and unhygienic . One i got dead housefly from their curry . We were provided with a small room like that of the width of a transport bus with 5 roomates in there. We neither had a space to dry our clothes nor even our underwears . However since they provided laundry service, space for drying clothes was not an issue but to be honest we were troubled with drying our underclothes due to lack of space . Even the laundry won't be reaching on time . we even had to wait for 4-5 days to get our cloth which was given for the laundry. We had very less storage space ,,,we didn't had space to keep our books safe . This hostel provides poor hygiene ....as like in a room of 5 members the cleaner comes to clean the toilet and room only for once in a week ...and that also cleaning meanis only brooming for them ....so there is lot of dirt in the floor of the room . We were in the 2nd floor and the wifi signal wouldn't reach there ....we have asked them a lot many time to fix it with an extender because we need our phones for studying or writing exams . But they didn't even minded that and everytime they had many excuses when we ask for something . This is my personal experience that I had experienced from this kb hostel. Thank you.

I stayed here for over an year. The best thing about this place is the food. It's homely and hygenic. They also serve good non vegetarian food. Rooms are large compared to other hostels. They also took good care of me when I fell sick. Recently some anti social elements are trying to bring down the google ratings of this hostel by giving false reviews.

I stayed here for 5 months..i've had really bad experience from there.when you are on leave, they will give your bed to the newcommers without informing you. And if you ask about this they won't give a proper reply..they will give so many excuses and they will blame others without accepting their mistakes.You need to take all your things when you are going for leave, otherwise they will give your things to others without asking your permission. You can't lock the room when you are not there.. anyone can enter into the room. They were partial to some people. My roommate got worms from breakfast.

My sister stayed there for about 9 months, a few days back she got a bunch of worms in her food they don't even care about hygiene at all, and they have bad attitudes towards girls....so i won't recommend this hostel to anyone it's best to find any other hostel with well maintenance and hygiene. Yet you can stay there if you don't care about worms

My friend stayed this hostel for 10 months, worst experience for her. They are providing unhygienic service. we will get worms from food. Totally bad experience, not a good space to stay. Do not prefer this hostel for your stay. I agree you will definitely regret by choosing K.B Ladies hostel.
