I recently had surgery at Bachoo Ali Hospital for cataracts in both my eyes, and it went well. Even though the staff could sometimes be a bit unfriendly, we should remember they deal with lots of people every day. Here are some important things to know if you plan to go to this hospital: 1. Bring a Friend: It's a good idea to have someone responsible with you who can help. There might be some paperwork, and having a friend or family member can be really useful. 2. Keep Your Receipt: On your first day, you'll pay Rs300 for some paperwork. Don't lose that receipt! Your paperwork will stay at the hospital, and you'll need the receipt to get it back. The receipt is good for 15 days; after that, you'll need to pay Rs300 again. 3. Don't Be Afraid to Ask: If you're unsure about anything, don't guess. Ask the hospital staff lots of questions, especially if you have diabetes or other concerns. If you find it hard to understand, it's okay to have a family member help you. 4. Affordable Treatment: The best part about this hospital is that the treatment isn't very expensive. Cataract surgery starts at Rs5000 for a regular one (with stitches) and Rs10,000 for a Laser surgery. I recommend the Laser surgery--it's not painful, and it's super quick. You'll be back home in about an hour. 5. Keep Your Documents: If you have health insurance, keep all your papers together right from the start. You'll need them for your insurance claim. In short, I had a good experience at Bachoo Ali Hospital. My cataract surgery went well, and it didn't cost too much. Even though the staff could be a bit gruff, the care was good, and it's affordable.

Recently my mother had successful eye surgery, just some staff are very rude, otherwise overall hospital is very good for middle class and privilege ppl. And nobody is receive the call whenever you call them.

Worst hospital I have ever seen...... They really don't care for the patients,after the surgery if the patient faces any kind of the problem they just really don't care about the patient...... They will directly tell u to consult ur private doctor.... Like then why the hell they are telling it a charitable hospital if they can't even take care of the patient and the staff is really a kind of headache dont have any manners how to talk....... And then the doctors after the surgery the doctors will not consult u they will become like prime ministers who are so busy that can't even talk to their patient..... They don't even allow the family members to go along with the patient for check up....... Plzz dont go in this hospital worst is the proper word I can use for this hospital

It's very bad hospital.. no experienced doctor's.. they just don't know anything.. my father had an cornea surgery first they told it will cost around 48k I told ok.. at the opt day the expenses went upto 72k how I managed that money I only know I told them our condition is not very good.. they r telling we can't do anything u have to pay.. then again on second day.. they took my father to operation theatre by telling that ac wash need to be done in urgently.. for that they have slip of 5000.. And telling u have to pay... It was their fault they didn't did the Operation properly but then also second day they took to operation theatre and took money.. then again next day they are telling eye is not getting better then they wrote many drops drops costed around 5k told to countinue every second day she's calling n seeing the eye.. one day she will tell it's getting better.. and second time she will say it's getting worst..and 3 time sonography she told to do.. sonography costed 1000 per time.. it's been 2mnth daily calling for check up.. and again she's telling to do ac wash.. and when I told money not there she's telling I can't help it out.. she wrote medicine of rs10k from where I'll bring the money.. nearly 2lakh I spended in this hospital still eye is same as it is.. seriously in my home we are not able to eat.. because in my home I'm the only one who is working.. i left my job because she used to call daily for check up.. nearly 3 to 5 hours for check up.. this line that line.. this hospital is just plucking money from people in the name of charitable hospital.. please don't go.. visit sion hospital but don't go here.. I'm done with everything.. just alive.. this also they will take Fromm me..

It is clean and well maintained I visited one while passing by for eye testing I thought it might be free since its a trust hospital but they were charging 300 so may be next time Or better do it in private

Nurses and staff behavior is so rude. service and attitude of staff is like as if it is a complete free hospital. Process is very slow. Very horrible experience.All Nurses and staff very disgusting
