It is believed that Mahabharata battle started from Jyotisar, where on the eve of the battle deluded Arjuna received the eternal message of Gita from its propounder Lord Krishna. Good place to visit with family and friends. A place where Gita Gyan given by lord Krishna to Arjuna in Mahabharata war. Near to kurukshetra about 10 from kurukshetra railway station and 14 km from bus stand. There is a huge photo of Sri Krishna with Virat roop which he his shown to Arjuna in Mahabharata war. There are huge piple trees which seems to be very old. Lots of u learn from there. It develops as a Shri Krishna circuit. Neat and clean place.
Geeta upadesh place Good to visit having many small tamales and one pond as well At night there is light and sound show is as well at 7 pm that is also good to watch The statue of lord Krishan's is also worth to watch

Maximum area is fields of Mahabharat so, this is the most important places of war because lord Sri Krishna given adviced to Arjuna about war and life...They were telling also the war area is very large and this time there district of Hariyana (Kurukshetra + Karnal + Kaithal). Must visit this template and see also many important weapons of war.
